This role focuses on driving expansion into transportation by originating, developing, and closing high-value, complex opportunities. Key responsibilities include: Managing the full sales lifecycle: lead identification, relationship cultivation, bid management, and contract closing. Developing and presenting compelling business cases and technical propositions. Collaborating with internal stakeholders and partners to create tailored solutions. Engaging with C-level executives and decision-makers in transportation. Achieving ambitious growth targets. Supporting transition from sales to delivery to ensure customer success. Representing the company at industry events and through thought leadership. Ideal candidate profile: Experience selling into transportation, with knowledge of market trends, competitors, and buyer behavior. Proven success in securing complex IT deals (e.g., Cloud, Digital, Data Platforms, AI/ML) in transportation. Experience with tender processes, RFIs, ITTs, and pre-qualifications. Excellent communication, persuasion, and negotiation skills. Solutions-oriented with a deep understanding of technology-driven business change. Knowledge of data-led propositions, including data sharing and machine learning. Comfort working with senior stakeholders and cross-functional teams.
