This is a lovely opportunity to join a truly unique client side cost and project management consultancy delivering European refurbishment projects for some of the world’s most prestigious luxury retail and hospitality brands. Projects range from £5-30m and are located in London, Paris, Monaco, Madrid, Milan, Zurich & Dusseldorf.
The company delivers large refurbishment projects end to end. The projects are beautifully designed using the highest quality materials.
On a day-to-day basis your role will involve:
- Estimating
- Proactive Cost Management
- Site Progress Checking
- Variation Tracking
- Valuations & the Agreement of Final Accounts
- Procurement
- Cashflow & Finance Management
The ideal candidate will be based in London with experience of the construction industry as a cost/commercial manager or quantity surveyor with a client side consultancy. Previous experience of luxury projects and/or speaking a European language would be fantastic, but it’s not essential.
This company invests generously in up-skilling their team. In addition to training, mentoring and guidance internally, you have a generous training budget to spend on enhancing your skills, which could be attending RICS courses or learning a European language or anything else relevant.
The main selling point of this role is the opportunity to travel to beautiful cities and build beautifully designed projects. You can expect to travel for circa 3 days a month; the rest of your time is hybrid working. They do reviews with their staff every 3 months to ensure you are getting everything you need to feel supported and happy in your work. They also do salary reviews every 3 months, so your remuneration grows as your experience does in real time.
