Join QVC UK as a Merchandise Financial Planner and play a pivotal role in shaping our commercial strategy. You will partner with Commercial, Executive, and Finance teams to deliver robust budgets, forecasts, and actionable insights that increase sales, profitability, and inventory optimisation. Reporting to the Manager of commercial finance, this is your chance to influence decisions at the highest level and help create QVC's future.
Your Impact
- You will create & consolidate QVC UK’s Commercial Financial Budgets and Forecasts.
- You will provide strategic analysis and support, closely partnering with the Commercial teams, Executive & Finance to deliver Budget through Sales, Profitability, Productivity, and Inventory optimisation.
- You will design, develop and maintain the tools and processes necessary to support Financial Planning & Category Merchandising at QVC UK.
- You will regularly review Forecasting performance to increase accuracy.
- You will develop an accurate and usable Contribution Margin Model and integrate that information into Commercial decision making.
- You will support Commercial initiatives & capital expenditure proposals by providing analysis and profitability modelling.
- You will work with all levels of leadership within the organisation, providing analysis, insight, and recommendations to drive action.
What You Bring
- You will have significant experience in a retail head office or similar environment.
- You will need to be adaptable to your audience and adjust accordingly, whether you are speaking to teams in finance or in the commercial world.
- You will have advanced analytical, modelling, and technical skills (Excel, financial systems).
- You will have strong business acumen and the ability to influence at all levels.
- You have a Degree in Business, Finance, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
