Vario is a practice group within Pinsent Masons which incorporates; Flexible Services, Consulting and Technology, Legal Project Management and Managed Legal Services (MLS). This role sits within our MLS team. As the Vario team grows, we are recruiting a Delivery Manager on a 10-month fixed term contract to support our MLS Delivery teams in ensuring that we are delivering a world class legal service to our practice groups and external clients. The role will support our engagement strategies with both sectors and groups and focus on the pastoral care and development of our legal delivery teams and their capabilities. The successful candidate will: Line manage a team of paralegals focused ondelivery of work to both lawyers and externalclients. This will include day to daysupervision, training &development, and management ofdirect reports Supervise the delivery of legalservices to end users Service delivery managementsupport on engagements asrequired. This includes resourceplanning, quality assurance,output/efficiencyreviews and progress reporting Continually develop delivery modelsto ensure best in class service Develop effective workingrelationships across relevantpractice groups and sectors Work with Resource Managementto effectively manage the allocationof work, and monitor/managecapacity and workload levels Our standard working hours are 9.30am-5.30pm, however, we are happy to consider flexible working requests. Please note, this role will sit within our Disputes team. Candidate Overview We are looking for candidates who ideally hold the following skills and experience: Experience of working on disputes related matter types Alternative legal services experience Demonstrable experience ofmanaging a high performingteam of legal professionals Experience in managing thedelivery of legal services in a highvolume, multi-locationenvironment Experience ofinfluencingstakeholders in alargecommercial law firm topromotethe benefits ofutilisingalternative servicedeliverymodels Significant experience of workingwith performance metrics toensure best in class servicedelivery What can we offer you?
