Bela Recruitment is recruiting an Experienced Garment Technologist based in Dungannon, Co. Tyrone, Northern Ireland.

Responsibilities

  • You may have gained similar experience working in another sector such as Big Fashion, Clothing or Specialist Clothing sectors.
  • This business supplies a huge range of companies across the UK & Ireland, with high quality, specialist uniforms to industries such as Corporate, Transport, Hospitality, Retail & Government sectors.
  • They are Textile Experts, ensuring excellent design, technical specifications, correct fabric usage and adherence to high ISO standards.
  • You will work between clients, suppliers, factory and in-house teams, to ensure delivery of products that meet customer needs.
  • Be the expert on design, fitting and quality of products preparing for production.
  • Drive product design and development including storyboarding and artboards.
  • Support sales in presentations, process sample returns & exchanges.
  • Approval of embroidery, heat seals, trims, pre-production sample garments.
  • Manage factory quality control audits.

Requirements

  • Ideally educated to Degree level, in a textile or fashion-based subject.
  • Must have previous Garment Technology experience in industry, managing products from the design stage to testing & sampling to full scale production.
  • Excellent presentation, communication and planning skills.
  • Skills in Illustration with working knowledge of fabric specifications and testing standards.
  • Proficient IT skills, including Word, Excel and Adobe.
  • Must have full driving license & own car.
