We are working with a leading UK contractor to find an experienced and proactive Procurement Analyst to join their team based in Stratford. This role is critical in supporting the Procurement function by delivering data-driven insights, driving cost efficiencies, and supporting strategic sourcing decisions. This role is responsible for analysing spend patterns, supplier performance, and market trends to identify opportunities for savings, process improvements, and risk mitigation.
Job Details:
- Conduct detailed spend analysis to uncover cost-saving and efficiency opportunities.
- Monitor and analyse supplier rebate schemes, ensuring accurate reconciliation and reporting.
- Support supplier performance reviews with actionable data and insights.
- Provide market research and trend analysis to inform sourcing strategies.
- Lead supplier due diligence processes for onboarding and compliance.
- Create dashboards and executive summaries to support strategic decision-making.
- Assist in preparing tender documentation and supporting contract negotiations.
- Identify opportunities to include non-designated parts under Core Supply Agreements.
- Contribute to the development and enhancement of procurement systems and processes.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to align procurement activities with operational goals.
- Balance and prioritise multiple projects across a fast-paced, multi-site business.
- Provide ad-hoc support on bids and other procurement initiatives.
Essential/Desirable Criteria:
- Previous experience in a Procurement Analyst or similar role, ideally within property or facilities management.
- Strong analytical and data modelling skills with advanced Excel proficiency.
- Degree in Finance, Business, Accounting, or a related field.
- Exceptional attention to detail and the ability to work independently.
- Effective communicator with strong stakeholder engagement skills.
- Proven ability to deliver commercial insight and support tender processes.
- Commercially aware, adaptable, and solution-focused.
- Understanding of sustainability and ESG considerations in procurement.
- Experience with data visualisation tools such as Power BI or Tableau.
