As a Parking Services Officer, you will have a passion for delivering a high standard of customer service in a busy environment. You’ll be working as part of a small team delivering a front line, face-to-face and back office service. You will be the first point of contact for:

  • Enquiries relating to processing all stages of Penalty Charge Notices
  • Administering permits for resident zones
  • Administering abandoned vehicle reporting
  • Supporting the maintenance of our car parks

You will demonstrate a high level of communication and organisational skills, along with a passion for, and experience of, working in a busy customer-focused face-to-face and telephone environment. Excellent ICT skills are essential. Experience of working in a notice processing setting is an advantage, but full training will be provided.

Working hours will be part of the flexible working hours scheme, but the service must be sufficiently covered during the core hours of 8.30am to 5pm, Monday to Friday. This post involves delivering a face-to-face service between 9am and 4pm, Monday to Friday, at Crawley Town Hall. These hours will be covered as part of a rota. Satisfactory clearance of a Basic Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) check is a condition of employment.
