This company is seeking a talented Electronics Design Engineer to join their defence client’s Stevenage based team. As an Electronics Design Engineer, you will be responsible for developing electronic solutions for their state-of-the-art defence systems.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Take ownership of the quality and performance of the electronic solutions, providing cost and schedule updates to the project manager.
  • Demonstrate a strong track record in electronic design capability throughout the product life cycle, from early concept to production.
  • Implement technical solutions across the power and analogue electronics sphere of expertise, at both sub-system and board level.
  • Collaborate with other domains, such as software, firmware, mechanical, environmental, and EMC, to ensure your designs perform to the highest standards.

Skills and Qualifications:

  • Degree-qualified (desirable) with significant post-qualification experience in electronic design, development, and delivery.
  • Proven ability to lead significant electronic design work packages and experience working within a multi-disciplinary team.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and in-depth knowledge of a wide range of electronic technologies and products.
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to influence and negotiate with stakeholders across the business.

About the role:

  • 12-month contract (possibility of extension)
  • Full time on site
  • Up to £58 per hour (umbrella)
