The team has an established MDT staff team, you will be also joining an established peer group of perinatal mental health leadership across the 2 teams in North Yorkshire and York.The team manager role is vital to support the team in the delivery of high-quality, evidence- based mental health intervention to women during the perinatal period (from pregnancy through to the first year following childbirth).The team aims to meet the needs of the local population who present with complex perinatal mental health needs. The team provide assessment and intervention for people who havemild through to severe and enduring mental health needs as well as working alongside community services within the area. Main duties of the job The successful candidate will lead the team to deliver high-quality mental health services to women during pregnancy and the postnatal period. Key responsibilities include:? Providing expert clinical assessment, treatment, and support.? Collaborating with healthcare professionals to ensure integrated care.? Offering specialist advice and consultation.? Developing and delivering tailored care plans.? Training and supervising junior staff and students.? Engaging in research and service development.The role also involves effective leadership, management, and service development topromote recovery and well-being for all service users.
