Visiting Lecturer (face-to-face teaching) Institution: St George\’s University, London Job Type: Hourly paid (3 hours per week in the Spring Term only) Location: Clerkenwell Campus, London EC1 Teaching on an established vocational module for Final Year BA English undergraduates who have an interest in teaching English. The module has been running successfully since 2018/19. This is a module based on current educational theory but is interactive and with a practical focus drawing on participants’ previous experience of learning. It is an elective module for students interested in teaching in various settings (e.g., Pre-Primary, Primary, Secondary, Further Education, Adult Education, HE, and private tutoring). Some students will have already been accepted onto PGCE courses. The Module Leader should have a broad and varied teaching background with knowledge of effective teaching and learning principles of literacy and oracy across different settings.
