I am currently exclusively recruiting for one of the largest Private Equity backed companies in the UK. As Group Director of Finance you will lead their group-wide financial strategy, drive performance, and support strategic decision-making at the highest level. Key focuses will include:

  • Lead the Group Finance function, overseeing financial planning & analysis, risk management, treasury, and reporting
  • Provide strategic financial insight to the Board and CEO, influencing business direction and investment decisions
  • Oversee budgeting, forecasting, and M&A activities, ensuring strong financial governance and compliance
  • Lead on financial reporting internally and externally with key stakeholders
  • Improve cash forecasting and maximise funding opportunities
  • Ensure tax compliance across the Group
  • Lead the groups financial transformation programme
  • Inspire, mentor, and develop a high-performing finance team

About You

  • Proven experience in a senior financial leadership role ideally within FMCG, manufacturing, or a complex multi-site organisation
  • ACA, ACCA, or CIMA qualified with deep technical knowledge and commercial acumen.
  • Track record of delivering growth, transformation, and financial excellence
  • Exceptional leadership and communication skills, with the ability to engage stakeholders from factory floor to boardroom.
