We are looking for a commercially astute and client-focused Senior Lease Advisory Surveyor to join our established team. You will lead on rent reviews, lease renewals, re-gears, and wider landlord and tenant negotiations across a diverse portfolio, delivering strategic advice to a mix of investors, landlords and occupiers. This is a fantastic opportunity to take ownership of high-quality instructions and develop strong client relationships, while mentoring junior surveyors and contributing to the growth of the lease advisory service line.

Whether you’ve built your experience in a consultancy, fund, or corporate setting, you combine professional expertise with a collaborative and proactive attitude. You’re also comfortable mentoring others and contributing to the overall success of the team.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage and deliver lease advisory work including rent reviews, lease renewals and re-gear.
- Advise clients on tenant strategy, asset repositioning, and lease structuring.
- Negotiate directly with landlords, tenants and advisors to achieve the best outcomes.
- Prepare clear and commercially sound advice, backed by market analysis and comparable evidence.
- Represent clients in third-party proceedings where necessary.
- Collaborate with agency, valuation and asset management teams to provide joined-up advice.
- Support business development through networking, pitches and cross-selling opportunities.
Essential Skills and Experience
- MRICS qualified with relevant post-qualification experience in lease advisory or valuation.
- Strong technical knowledge of landlord and tenant law and valuation methodology.
- Excellent negotiation, analytical and report-writing skills.
- Comfortable presenting advice and engaging directly with clients.
- Ability to manage a busy and varied caseload with minimal supervision.
- Strong commercial awareness and relationship-building capability.
Desirable Skills and Experience
- Experience working with institutional landlords or large occupiers.
- Familiarity with rent review clauses, service charge provisions and modern lease structures.
- Working knowledge of valuation software (e.g. Argus) and financial modelling in Excel.
- Exposure to asset management or investment strategies.
