Job Description

About the Role:

We are currently seeking a reliable and experienced Grab Driver (HGV Class 2) to join our growing team in Oxfordshire. This is a hands-on role involving the operation of a grab lorry for the collection and delivery of materials to and from construction and landscaping sites across the region.

Key Responsibilities:

Operate grab lorry safely and efficiently to collect and deliver aggregates, spoil, and other materials
Maintain high levels of customer service at all times
Complete daily vehicle checks and maintain accurate records
Ensure compliance with all health and safety and road transport regulations
Liaise with site managers and dispatch teams to ensure smooth operations

Requirements:

Full UK HGV Class 2 (Category C) licence
Valid CPC and Digital Tachograph Card
Grab ticket (Clamshell/HIAB) essential
Minimum 1 year of grab driving experience preferred
Strong understanding of road safety and manual handling
Good communication and time management skills
