Senior Asset Surveyor
Salary: £45,417 – £48,460 plus a Market Supplement of £6,000 per annum
Hybrid working model: 3 days office & 2 days from home
Join our team and play a key role in managing, developing and regenerating our district. We’re focused on shaping the future of the district by helping it to grow and succeed by planning, leading and delivering an Asset Strategy.
You’ll be responsible for a wide range of properties and land across the district and dealing with commercial property management. This includes a variety of elements from valuations, rent reviews, lease renewals, service charges, new lettings, general Landlord & Tenant matters to investment decisions and the acquisition and disposal of assets.
You\’ll lead on operational asset management for a portfolio of council land and buildings, sourcing, initiating, and driving value added asset management initiatives.
In addition to this, you be comfortable with providing transactional and technical services including key options appraisals to support either acquisition, disposal, or investment in assets to grow revenue and capital receipts through proactive asset management.

This role will be based at our Council Offices, Argyle Road, Sevenoaks Kent TN13 1HG. We currently operate a hybrid working model for the majority of our roles where your working time will be divided between the office (3 days) and home working (2 days).
