Due to ongoing growth, we are looking for a reliable Production Operative to join our team working on a two:shift rotating basis : 5:30am to 1:30pm and 1:30pm to 9:30pm, Monday to Friday. Flexibility with a willingness to learn and embrace new skills will also form a fundamental requirement of the role. Key personal attributes include a dedicated, reliable and hardworking ethic. Responsibilities Ensure all work is carried out safely. Ensure all equipment is in a safe and serviceable condition. Enforce and promote safety and housekeeping in your area of work. To report safety and hazard faults. Ensure customer quality standards are maintained at all times, including board caliper, print coverage, colour matching, die registration, case size and case squareness. Ensure a rapid response to machine failures and breakdowns and inform relevant departments (planning and despatch). Keep Line Manager informed of work progress. Ensure cleaning schedules are rigidly adhered to and meet the agreed schedule (daily, weekly, monthly and quarterly checks). Employ continuous improvement techniques and share best practice with colleagues. Demonstrate flexibility to cover absence and sickness as required.
