Salary: £32,000 (with bonus scheme post-probation)

Summary:
We are seeking an organised and driven Inventory Team Leader to oversee and manage inventory levels effectively to meet the company s operational needs. The role involves daily inventory checks, monitoring stock movements, maintaining accuracy in records, and optimizing stock levels to avoid shortages and overstock situations. As a multi-site position, flexibility to cover any site is required.
Key Responsibilities
- Inventory Monitoring: Conduct regular perpetual inventory checks, ensuring stock integrity and effective housekeeping.
- Issue Resolution: Identify and investigate inventory discrepancies, generating reports and actionable recommendations.
- Stock Optimization: Identify slow-moving or obsolete stock, proposing solutions for optimized stock levels.
- Stock Control & Compliance: Organize and lead stock-taking activities, ensuring safe and regulatory-compliant storage.
- Record Maintenance: Maintain precise records that meet audit standards.
- Coordination: Work closely with warehouse staff to ensure accuracy in stock picking and delivery processes.
- Process Improvement: Continuously review and refine inventory control procedures to enhance operational efficiency.
- Variance Management: Investigate stock variances, implementing measures to prevent future discrepancies.
- Product Range Setup: Support operations with new product ranges, bins, and setups.
- Team Support: Assist and collaborate with team members and other departments as needed.
