Casual Patrol Officer – Timaru/Ashburton

About the role:

We have a casual opportunity to join our Timaru/Ashburton team as a Security Patrol Officer. As a Patrol Officer, you will drive an assigned route checking client properties or staff to ensure their security and safety. You will attend alarm response calls or support other officers on longer routes. All of our vehicles are fitted with GPS and cameras for staff safety.

What we need you to have:

• Excellent people skills and the ability to build relationships
• Effective written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to think quickly in challenging situations
• Physical fitness and resilience under stress
• A current full NZ Driver’s Licence
• Ability to pass a Ministry of Justice Criminal Convictions check
• A current Certificate of Approval (CoA) or the ability to obtain one
