Pulmonary Rehab Band 7 Occupational Therapist Role Job Title: Band 7 Occupational Therapist Location: Orpington Start Date: ASAP End Date: Ongoing Premises and Working Locations: Beckenham Beacon, Orpington Methodist Church, Central Court, with occasional home visits Assignment commencement date: ASAP Likely assignment duration: Currently unknown, likely at least a month but probably longer Working pattern/hours: Monday to Friday, with shift times (Apply online only) Responsibilities include: Initial and discharge assessments for Pulmonary Rehabilitation Running Pulmonary Rehabilitation classes and delivering education to patients in a community setting Completing respiratory assessments on patients with conditions such as COPD, bronchiectasis, and interstitial lung disease, and formulating physiotherapy treatment plans Making onward referrals and liaising with healthcare professionals including respiratory nurses, consultants, and GPs Must be a car driver Previous respiratory physiotherapy experience is essential, including experience in Pulmonary Rehabilitation Experience in running exercise classes and delivering patient education is required Qualifications: Qualified Occupational Therapist Note: If you are not interested in this role, please still get in touch as we have many open vacancies!
