The role
What will you be doing? Senior IT Delivery Manager - Data Hybrid –Dorking or Basingstoke, 3 days a week minimum.
What will you bring? We are seeking a Senior IT Delivery Manager with a background in data and analytics to lead high performing Agile delivery teams in the successful execution of data driven transformation initiatives. This is a key leadership role responsible for guiding several agile and/or infrastructure and operations teams supporting various business and technical capabilities, services or functional areas of IT.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage Agile delivery teams (circa 7 direct reports) across data and infrastructure workstreams.
- Implement and deliver new solutions to enable, enhance or transform business capabilities or services.
- Drive the successful delivery of complex data programmes, ensuring alignment with business objectives and strategic goals.
- Strong understanding of modern data platforms, cloud technologies (preferably Microsoft Azure), and data architecture.
- Experienced in managing both permanent team members and contract resources.
- Demonstrated ability to deliver data transformation programmes from concept through to execution.
- Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills, with a strong delivery mindset.
- Ability to challenge constructively, coach effectively, and drive outcomes in a fast-paced environment.
