MCS Group seeking a talented and experienced IT Manager to join our global Technology Services client. This is a hands-on leadership role responsible for delivering, supporting, and evolving Microsoft 365 services and related applications across the organisation. As part of the IT Service Management function, you will play a pivotal role in shaping our strategy, driving technical delivery, and ensuring services are aligned with business needs. Key Responsibilities: Lead the administration and support of M365 applications including Office 365 (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, OneNote), MS Teams, OneDrive, SharePoint Online, and AvePoint (M365 backup). Manage deployment of web add-ins and coordinate monthly Office patching through M365 Admin Centre. Provide technical leadership across global projects and initiatives, ensuring solutions align with strategic direction and deliver business value. Oversee legal document tools such as Adobe Acrobat, Litera Tools, and templating solutions (e.g. Templafy). Serve as the subject matter expert for all M365-related technologies, offering guidance and hands-on expertise where needed. Deliver excellent service management practices to ensure applications are available, supported, and continuously improved. Act as the primary technical lead for your area, driving best practices and representing the team in technical and stakeholder discussions. Support and develop a high-performing team with clear direction, coaching, and accountability. Contribute to and promote the organisation\’s environmental goals and sustainability initiatives. Key Requirements: Extensive experience in a 3rd line IT support role, including leading teams and managing complex issues within a Microsoft technology environment. Strong track record of delivering enterprise-wide solutions and providing technical leadership on projects. Deep practical knowledge of Microsoft 365 technologies and associated legal tech tools. Experience working within the professional services sector or similar fast-paced, high-demand environments. Solid understanding of infrastructure, IT operations, and application management within a cloud-first context. Excellent problem-solving, communication, and stakeholder management skills. Relevant technical certifications or accreditations (preferred but not essential).
