The One Group is working with an automotive consultancy that provides services to customers in the areas of internal combustion engines, batteries, and hybrid systems for the automotive sector. They are seeking a Project Buyer to join them on an ongoing contract basis.
As a Project Buyer , you will be responsible for working within a team to ensure all parts and services are produced following company procedures. You will provide purchasing support to the business and engineering project teams for internal, research and development, prototype, and customer production programs.
You will have the opportunity to ensure the selection of correct suppliers to meet specific project requirements and that PO numbers are released properly, ensuring effective change management control.
Ideally, candidates will come from a Project Buying background within the automotive sector; however, experience in industries such as Motorsport, Off-Highway, and Aerospace will also be considered.
The role offers a competitive hourly rate on a 3-month contract, which is likely to be extended.
