An opportunity for a highly motivated and detail-oriented Project Manager to join a dynamic and design-led residential developer in London. The ideal arrangement is a temporary to permanent contract, offering the flexibility to assess long-term fit while contributing immediately to the successful delivery of live projects.
This role involves managing high-quality residential schemes from planning through to completion, collaborating with in-house design, development, and delivery teams as well as external consultants and contractors.
Key Responsibilities- Lead the delivery of residential-led development projects from pre-construction through to handover.
- Manage project programmes, budgets, and risk registers to ensure projects are delivered on time and within budget.
- Liaise with consultants, contractors, local authorities, and key stakeholders to drive progress and maintain design integrity.
- Coordinate design development in collaboration with architects and the in-house design team.
- Oversee procurement strategies and support contract negotiations.
- Monitor site activities and conduct regular site inspections to ensure quality standards and health & safety compliance.
- Prepare and present project reports and updates for senior leadership.
- Work closely with the development and sales teams to align project delivery with commercial objectives.
- 5+ yearsβ experience in a Project Management role, ideally within residential or mixed-use developments.
- Proven track record of delivering design-focused schemes in urban environments.
- Strong knowledge of UK construction processes, procurement, and JCT contracts.
- Excellent communication, coordination, and leadership skills.
- Degree-qualified in a relevant discipline (e.g., Construction Management, Architecture, Engineering, or similar).
- Membership of a professional body (e.g., RICS, CIOB, APM) is advantageous but not essential.
- Passionate about good design and architecture.
- Comfortable working in a collaborative, fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment.
- Able to manage multiple priorities and work autonomously when needed.
