The Role

As a Deputy Manager, you will inspire your team to deliver the Castore customer and brand vision. Your responsibilities include supporting service and sales, ensuring customer focus, and empowering staff with the necessary knowledge and training. You will focus on growing sales and developing a service-oriented team, supporting all store operations both front and back of house.

Responsibilities

Supporting the Store Manager:

  • Guide and coach the team to prioritize customer first approach.
  • Ensure operational setup to deliver excellent customer experience and maximize sales.
  • Provide training and manage performance with regular feedback.
  • React to changing retail environment to meet customer needs.

Driving Results:

  • Prioritize service as your key KPI, ensuring customer satisfaction.
  • Optimize store operations, stock flow, and achieve \’All Sizes Out\’ targets.
  • Train and manage team performance effectively.

Operational:

  • Adhere to company policies and procedures.
  • Maintain documentation and HR records in compliance with legal requirements.
  • Manage cash handling, deliveries, and health & safety policies.

Commercial:

  • Work towards sales plans and KPIs with a focus on service.
  • Build a confident, customer-focused team with clear objectives.
  • Stay informed about market trends and competition.
  • Identify opportunities to increase sales and improve business performance.
