Vario is a practice group within Pinsent Masons which incorporates: Flexible Services, Consulting and Technology, Legal Project Management, and Managed Legal Services (MLS). This role sits within our MLS team. As the Vario team grows, we are recruiting a Delivery Manager to support our MLS Delivery teams in ensuring that we deliver a world-class legal service to our practice groups and external clients. The role will support our engagement strategies with both sectors and groups and focus on the pastoral care and development of our legal delivery teams and their capabilities. The successful candidate will: Line manage a team of paralegals focused on the delivery of work to both lawyers and external clients. This will include day-to-day supervision, training and development, and management of direct reports. Supervise the delivery of legal services to end users. Provide service delivery management support on engagements as required. This includes resource planning, quality assurance, output/efficiency reviews, and progress reporting. Continuously develop delivery models to ensure best-in-class service. Develop effective working relationships across relevant practice groups and sectors. Work with Resource Management to effectively manage the allocation of work, and monitor/manage capacity and workload levels. Our standard working hours are 9:30 am – 5:30 pm; however, we are happy to consider flexible working requests. Candidate Overview We are looking for candidates who ideally hold the following skills and experience: Experience working on property-related matters. Experience in alternative legal services. Proven experience managing a high-performing team of legal professionals. Experience managing the delivery of legal services in a high-volume, multi-location environment. Experience influencing stakeholders in a large commercial law firm to promote the benefits of utilizing alternative service delivery models.
