PMO Manager role is based in London and covers the UK and overseas operations, serving multiple countries. You will focus on building a consistent approach, implement project management methodologies, process and best practices to managing global projects.

What you'll be doing:

  • Develop and implement PMO processes, frameworks, and governance structures to support renewable energy projects.
  • Provide project oversight, ensuring adherence to timelines, budgets, and quality standards.
  • Establish and maintain project reporting systems to track progress, risks, and key performance indicators (KPIs).
  • Work closely with project managers, stakeholders, and senior management to drive project success and to ensure timelines, budgets, and scope are in line with expectations.
  • Ensure compliance with UK regulations, industry standards, and company policies.
  • Develop and maintain risk management processes, including mitigation strategies.
  • Lead continuous improvement initiatives to enhance project delivery efficiency, conducting project reviews and post-project evaluations to identify lessons learned across multiple countries.
  • Facilitate resource planning and allocation across multiple projects.
  • Coordinate project documentation, ensuring accessibility and accuracy.
  • Lead initiatives for continuous improvement of project management processes and methodologies.
  • Develop and provide training for project managers and team members on best practices and tools.

What experience you'll bring:

  • 7+ years of experience in project management, PMO, or related roles within the renewables, construction, or energy sector.
  • Strong understanding of project governance, methodologies, and best practices.
  • Experience in client-side project management and oversight.

  • Strong stakeholder management and communication abilities.
  • Proficiency in project management tools (e.g., MS Project, Primavera, or similar).
