Green Data Talent is partnered up with a leader in renewable energy and power generation who are currently in the market for an Automation Field Service Engineer.
As an Automation Field Service Engineer, you’ll be responsible for the installation, maintenance, and repair of advanced automation and control systems across a variety of industrial sites.
Responsibilities:
- Commissioning, servicing, and troubleshooting of automated systems and machinery.
- Providing technical support and training to clients on-site.
- Diagnosing faults across PLCs, HMIs, and control panels.
- Deliver technical reports and documentation post-service.
- Preparing, planning, testing and commissioning high and low voltage automation system upgrades.
- Performing routine maintenance tasks and training across all automation systems, both onshore and offshore for customers.
Requirements:
- Higher National Diploma in Electrical Engineering
- Proven experience in a field service role within industrial automation or controls.
- Strong understanding of PLC systems (e.g., Siemens, Allen-Bradley, Mitsubishi).
- Familiarity with HMI/SCADA platforms and electrical fault-finding.
- Due to the nature of work all applicants must be eligible for SC Clearance.
