We are looking for an experienced maritime professional who has sailed as Chief Engineer and has at least 3+ years of experience as a Technical Superintendent with bulk carriers, bringing valuable seagoing and shore-based expertise to this technical management position.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide technical oversight and performance monitoring of third-party ship managers
- Conduct regular vessel inspections, both during active service and dry dock periods
- Support in-house vessel operations while ensuring strict adherence to safety protocols and technical standards
- Manage procurement processes including quotations, spare parts acquisition, and vessel budget planning
- Deliver comprehensive performance and technical operational reports to senior management
- Ensure full compliance with classification society and flag state requirements
Requirements
- Must have sailed to Chief Engineer rank with proven track record
