E-Commerce Project Manager – 6 Month Contract – Hybrid – Birmingham – Outside IR35
VIQU has partnered with a FTSE 100 organization seeking an E-Commerce Project Manager to lead a global implementation project. This is a highly complex, enterprise-level rollout from scratch, requiring strong product management expertise, stakeholder coordination, and experience in large-scale digital transformations.
The role:
The successful E-Commerce Project Manager will oversee the global rollout of the Optimizely E-Commerce platform, ensuring seamless integration across multiple regions. This role requires experience in end-to-end implementations, working with third-party vendors, internal teams, and managing the technical and regulatory complexities of a global platform launch.
Key skills & responsibilities:
- Extensive experience as an E-Commerce Project Manager, delivering complex, end-to-end implementations.
- Proven track record managing large-scale, global projects in e-commerce and digital transformation.
- Strong Product Management expertise, including feature prioritization, user experience, and working with development teams.
- Experience integrating e-commerce platforms with backend systems (ERP, CRM, PIM, CMS, and payment gateways).
- Strong stakeholder management, working with cross-functional internal teams and third-party suppliers.
- Understanding of regional e-commerce complexities, including localisation, tax compliance, and regulatory standards (e.g., GDPR).
- Knowledge of SEO, analytics, and A/B testing to drive e-commerce performance and personalisation.
