We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Security Manager to oversee our nightlife operations at this brand-new nightlife venue. Reporting to the Head of Security, the Security Manager will play a key role in delivering a safe, secure and welcoming environment for guests, artists, clients and team members during all late-night shows and events. This is a hands-on leadership role requiring strong operational focus, excellent judgement and a calm authoritative presence. The Security Manager will lead and coordinate a team of security professionals, ensuring seamless delivery of venue security, effective incident response and compliance with licensing and health and safety requirements. The Security Manager will work closely with internal departments, including Sales, Marketing and Guest Services, helping to protect the venue's reputation while ensuring an exceptional guest experience.
Key Responsibilities Include:
- Manage nightly security operations to ensure safety and order during events and high-traffic periods.
- Lead, motivate and supervise the security team, ensuring professionalism, preparedness and proactive presence.
- Plan and implement event-specific security strategies in collaboration with internal stakeholders.
- Respond effectively to incidents and emergencies, conducting investigations and reporting as required.
- Support Sales and Marketing Teams with safety coordination for promotional events, property tours and activations.
- Build and maintain strong working relationships with the police and emergency services, security partners and key client representatives.

We’re Looking for Someone With:
- Valid SIA Door Supervisor Licence.
- Proven experience in managing security within nightlife, hospitality or licensed venues.
- Strong leadership, conflict resolution, and team coordination skills.
- Excellent communication, incident reporting and risk assessment abilities.
- Flexibility to work late nights, weekends and holidays as needed.
- Calm, assertive and professional presence in high-pressure situations.
- Knowledge of CCTV systems, access control and crowd management practices.
