Position Summary:
Ready to drive impactful change at the intersection of innovation and strategy?
As a Senior Manager Strategy EMEA, you will be closely involved in defining priorities, driving growth, and shaping business models for the future within an international, purpose-driven environment.
In this role you will be responsible for delivering strategic initiatives that guide the long-term direction of the business. Reporting to the Senior Director Strategy EMEA & APAC, you will collaborate with senior stakeholders across functions and markets. Your focus will be on identifying growth opportunities, evaluating and executing strategic projects, and ensuring alignment with business goals across the region.
Key Responsibilities:
Strategic Planning
- Lead the five-year strategic planning process for the EMEA region in close coordination with senior leadership
- Develop actionable regional strategies that align with global objectives and reflect market realities
- Provide strategic guidance across business units and functions by applying market insights and internal data
Mergers and Acquisitions
- Monitor the market to identify relevant M&A targets and assess their strategic fit and business impact
- Support or lead M&A processes from target identification through to financial analysis, due diligence, negotiation, and integration planning
- Maintain productive relationships with external stakeholders including target organizations, banks, and advisors
Business Development
- Identify and assess growth opportunities such as strategic partnerships, joint ventures, or new business models that complement core operations
- Lead the evaluation and execution of selected initiatives by preparing robust business cases and aligning internal stakeholders
- Build effective cross-functional collaboration, especially with innovation, marketing, operations, and finance

Qualified candidates will have:
- A degree in a financial, technical, or business-related field; a postgraduate qualification such as an MBA is a plus
- Strong experience in strategy and business development, ideally with exposure to both consulting and relevant industry environments
- A proven ability to prepare strategic plans, develop business cases, and manage complex M&A projects
- Financial literacy and the ability to turn analysis into meaningful decisions
- Experience working with senior leadership in a global, matrixed setting
