Key Responsibilities:
- Carry out preventative and reactive maintenance on a range of industrial equipment.
- Troubleshoot, diagnose, and resolve mechanical, electrical system faults.
- Support in the implementation of continuous improvement initiatives.
- Ensure all work is completed in compliance with safety regulations and company policies.
- Perform inspections and checks on machinery, ensuring equipment is operating at optimal levels.
- Work closely with production teams to ensure minimal downtime and optimal performance.
- Maintain accurate records of maintenance work and any required updates to the system.
Key Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Maintenance Engineer, ideally within an industrial or manufacturing environment.
- Strong knowledge of mechanical systems.
- Ability to work effectively with minimal supervision and manage time efficiently.
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to respond to urgent situations promptly.
- Excellent communication skills and a team-oriented attitude.
- A relevant engineering qualification (HNC, HND, or equivalent) is desirable.
