Alexander James Recruiting is currently working with a leading manufacturer of Material Handling equipment to recruit a new Field Service Engineer. The successful candidate will service their client base across mid Wales and Chester area. This role offers a competitive basic salary and additional benefits, making it an attractive opportunity for experienced forklift engineers or those from related industries interested in working on forklifts.
Responsibilities
- Servicing a client base across mid Wales and Chester area, focusing on forklift trucks
- Fixing and servicing related material handling and specialist equipment, including side-loaders and industrial cleaning equipment
- Providing excellent customer service and representing the company professionally during site visits
- Occasionally working in the workshop and on-call duties
- Reporting to the Regional Service Manager and team leader
Requirements
The company prefers candidates with a forklift truck background, but this is not essential. Candidates with experience in related industries such as plant equipment, automotive, or commercial vehicles will also be considered. The candidate must be able to work independently and as part of a team, with a willingness to develop skills. Applicants should be based within the SY or CH postcode areas.
