About the Role:
Our client is looking for a skilled Maintenance/Fitter to join their team. This role is essential to the repair, maintenance, and load testing of their lifting equipment. The successful candidate will have experience in fault-finding and repairs on traction hoists and safety brakes, as well as major gearbox repairs and overhauls.
Key Responsibilities:
- Diagnose and repair traction hoists and safety brake systems
- Conduct load testing of lifting equipment to ensure safety and functionality
- Carry out major gearbox repairs and complete overhauls
- Work with both AC and DC electrical systems
Qualifications & Skills:
- Strong knowledge of AC/DC electrical systems
- Good organisational and communication skills
- Proficiency in PC use, including MS Office applications
