JOB PURPOSE To ensure the businesses premises, including all internal and external areas, are kept clean, safe, secure, and in good working order. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES Maintain cleanliness and tidiness of all staff areas, and external patios including car parks, bins, entrances, smoking areas, and pathways and self-catering gardens Support general maintenance tasks inside and outside the building (e.g., sweeping paths, clearing leaves, gutter / drain clearing, basic gardening) Carry out manual handling duties such as deliveries, laundry, and refuse Perform basic maintenance to external areas (e.g., lightbulb changes, minor repairs, painting, unblocking drains) PERSON SPECIFICATION Essential: Physically capable and comfortable working both indoors and outdoors in all weather conditions Strong work ethic and a helpful, can-do attitude Good communication and problem-solving skills Awareness of basic health and safety and manual handling practices Desirable: Previous experience in a similar role Basic maintenance skills Knowledge of groundskeeping or light gardening task Job: Rate of Pay- £12.25 per hour for 18 years plus Working hours: 7.30-12.30 5 days a week to include one weekend day Contract Until 30th Sept, then reviewable #J-18808-Ljbffr
