The Company is a global systems integrator within the warehousing industry, designing, manufacturing and installing automation for product retrieval and storage. They provide a resident site maintenance team and work with major names across the UK. The company has recently invested over £20 million in the site in Burton, enhancing their capabilities from processing 20,000 orders a day to 40,000.
The Role includes:
- Working alongside your Maintenance Team Leader to ensure effective management of the 4 engineers on shift and reporting any issues.
- Stepping up into a Team Leader role in their absence.
- Promoting a strong safety culture and adhering to Health & Safety and statutory procedures.
- Preparing and chairing Daily Review Meetings with Key Stakeholders.
- Undertaking analysis of CMMS data to assist forward planning for Continuous Improvement opportunities.
- Working on highly automated state-of-the-art equipment, including Automated shuttle systems, robotics, and various Conveyor Systems.
The Individual we are looking for should:
- Be a multi-skilled engineer, working safely both electrically and mechanically.
- Be confident in communication and teamwork.
- Hold a recognised engineering qualification.
- Perform independently when required and under pressure in certain scenarios.
