Job Description: Financial Translator β Arabic & English, Part-time (6 months) Location: London Bridge / Hybrid based Dow Jones Newswires is seeking a fluent Arabic and English speaker to work on the quality assessment of our auto-translation model. The successful candidate will evaluate English to Arabic translations of Dow Jones Newswires\β financial, business, and economic news. The model focuses on standard and Arabian Gulf dialects. This is a part-time contract requiring weekly work at our London Bridge location. Responsibilities: Be responsible for tasks related to R&D and QA for English-to-Arabic auto-translation, including: Vet initial QA results from our Data Strategy team Spot check auto-translated outputs daily Implement correction policies for Arabic products Build glossaries Create prompts to improve translation quality Collaborate with global colleagues to enhance translation quality and efficiency Engage with stakeholders (Product, Editorial, Customers, Partners) Map third-party content to improve Arabic language offerings Assist with translating templates for automated content generation and other translation tasks as needed Qualifications: Excellent knowledge of financial and economic news and terminology in English and Arabic Experience with machine translation and GenAI Preferably experience in a financial-focused newsroom Dow Jones is an equal opportunity employer committed to diversity and inclusion.
