Who are Cardo Group? Who We Are: Cardo Group is a social housing property maintenance company. Our multi-company group specializes in maintenance, compliance, and retrofit services with a growing national footprint. With ambitious plans for further expansion, we are committed to making a lasting industry impact. We are currently looking for a Social Value Manager to join our team in Kingston. The role involves supporting Cardo Group\’s requirements to conduct and visibly demonstrate a wide range of social value activities that provide added value for money to our clients and benefit the communities where we operate. This includes ensuring community initiatives align with our Social Value commitments, utilizing our measurement tool Thrive, and focusing on increasing investment through local employment, spend, wellbeing, and diversity and equality. The role involves engaging with voluntary, community, public, and private sector partners, developing and managing social value activities with internal and external stakeholders, promoting positive outcomes, and leading the creation and management of social value work on assigned contracts. Accountabilities/Responsibilities: Developing and managing relationships with stakeholders, including charities, support groups, schools, and community organizations. Executing social value events within budget and targeting key outcomes. Managing the social value events program and targets. Understanding community needs and tailoring activities to maximize benefits. Capturing data, reporting outcomes, and contributing to marketing materials. Ensuring high visibility of the Cardo Group brand at events and aligning activities with company values. Building relationships in existing and new contract areas to support community activities. Producing event briefings, evaluations, and documentation, including photographs and case studies. Communicating effectively with diverse audiences and leading social value activities within contracts. Reporting, budgeting, and supporting continuous improvement initiatives. Key Skills & Experience: Strong interpersonal and writing skills. Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail. Creative and innovative thinking. Experience in implementing social value programs and leading projects. Knowledge of legislation and regulations related to social value and risk assessments.
