Product Architect, Energy Domain knowledge mandatory, Home Based. £75000 - 85000 + benefits. Candidates without knowledge of the energy sector cannot be considered. Happy to consider candidates who are currently lead engineers and want to secure their first Architecture role.
Market leading software company are seeking a Product Architect to join their team. Reporting to the Tribe Engineering Manager you will be responsible for the creation of High Level Designs. Although you will not be writing code, you will have come from a C# development background and will have excellent knowledge of the SDLC. Ideally you will have worked as a Lead / Senior Developer with some architectural responsibility and now want to move into an architect role.
Key responsibilities include:
- Create High Level Designs.
- Work closely with product and engineering management providing input on technical feasibility and cost.
- Work with the broader team to convey the technical architecture for new products and features.
- Identify technical debt and improvement opportunities.
- Build architectural frameworks.
- Drive towards an architecture that optimizes flexibility, reuse, scalability, performance, durability and availability.
To be considered for this you will have the following technical skills:
- A C# / .net development background.
- Experience in solution and technical design of multi-tier distributed scalable .net solutions in AWS.
- Strong knowledge of the energy sector.
- Excellent communication skills with experience working with all levels of stakeholders.
This is a great role for a candidate who is ready to step into an architect role or one who already has worked as an architect. Acting as an SME you will produce high quality HLD's and work across the business ensuring the software that is produced is robust and scalable. This role is home based with one day a month at the client's office in Nottingham (expenses will be paid if you are more than 60 miles from the office). Interviews soon.
