Following an internal move of progression for one of the experienced credit controllers, the team is now seeking a Credit Controller to backfill that position.

About the Accounts Receivable Job

This Accounts Receivable job will suit a candidate who has done sales ledger and credit control as part of their role or standalone, but looking for more autonomy and responsibility in a good sized established team. This credit control job will join a dedicated credit control team that works closely with colleagues across the business to maintain a healthy cash position. The part of the ledger this role will manage is in a strong position with minimal aged debt and strong customer relationships.

This is not a back-office role; your work will be essential to the business, and you'll have ownership from start to finish of your Accounts Receivable Ledger, with your duties including:

  • Setting up and monitoring customer accounts
  • Proactively managing credit terms and limits
  • Chasing outstanding payments and resolving queries
  • Liaising with internal teams and external clients
  • Allocating and posting cash receipts

The wider finance function includes teams focused on transactional finance, payroll, and international operations.

Requirements:

  • You must have some credit control experience as part of your role, or standalone, and enjoy working autonomously but value being part of a supportive team.

Experience: Minimum 2 years in finance including credit control role

Systems: Comfortable with Excel; ERP experience is helpful but not essential

Attributes: Proactive, self-motivated, and confident handling their own workload
