Sentara is hiring a Chief Radiation Physicist at the Brock Cancer Center in Norfolk, Virginia. Sign-on Bonus: Up to $25,000 offered for qualified candidates!
Job Description:
- Provides leadership and manages the work assignments, schedules, and functions of the Medical Physicists and Dosimetrists.
- Responsible for overseeing the design, technical evaluation, and precise delivery of radiation treatment plans.
- Develops and recommends new program services and treatment alternatives.
- Ensures compliance with the Nuclear Regulatory Commission (NRC) and other regulatory bodies.
Requirements:
- American Board of Radiology or American Board of Medical Physics certification.
- Master's Degree in Medical Physics REQUIRED, PhD preferred.
- CHP Certification OR ABR Certification REQUIRED.
- 7 years Physicist experience REQUIRED.
