Our beautiful Botley setting with a large outdoor space and are looking for a Senior Nursery Practitioner for their Toddler room to support the room leader to inspire a passionate childcare team, supporting the children\’s learning and development. A minimum of a Level 3 Early Years Qualification is required. All successful candidates will be subject to safer recruitment checks, including a fully completed application form and DBS checks.
Responsibilities
- Assist Room Leader and colleagues with planning activities appropriate for the age group, following all supporting guidelines as laid out in the EYFS.
- Assist in the care, maintenance and cleaning of all toys and equipment within the nursery, recording and reporting any maintenance or safety issues/irregularities.
- Be a responsible, reliable and effective member of staff working flexibly as part of the team.
- Communicate clearly and efficiently with parents/guardians in regard to their child’s development, encouraging active participation and interest in their child’s continual development and progress.
- Provide an appealing, creative and stimulating room and environment.
- Ensure all company forms and procedures are filled out correctly.
- Be familiar with and work within all company policies and procedures and report any breach in procedure.
Employment Details
- Full Time Role, Monday – Friday
- Starting Salary – £28,828.80
- Botley staff receive an additional £0.30/hour location weighting (this is included in salary above; subject to terms)
