We’re excited to offer an opportunity for a Temporary Customer Service Meet & Greet Assistant to join our team at Edinburgh Airport during the busy summer peak! As a Customer Service Meet & Greet Assistant , you’ll be the first point of contact for our customers, providing a warm, friendly, and efficient service at our branch. Your role will focus on creating a seamless rental experience, particularly for our Emerald Club members , ensuring their needs are met quickly and efficiently. This is a temporary position starting in April until October , requiring flexibility with shifts available across seven days a week between 7am-10pm . The number of contracted hours will be 40 to 45 depending on your availability, but flexibility with working days and times is essential – shifts will vary over 7 days a week, various working rota between 7am-10pm. Responsibilities Work proactively with drivers, service agents, handheld return agents and managers to ensure proper vehicle supply. Welcome members to the facility when they arrive in the car park. Direct customers to exit booth, provide local directions and maps and provide return directions where applicable. Assist members with questions and queries. Perform other customer service related duties in addition to those listed, to ensure our service meets the needs of our customers. Qualifications Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a friendly and customer-focused attitude. Previous experience in customer service or retail. Strong attention to detail and the ability to multitask in a busy environment. Strong work ethic and positive attitude. The flexibility to work a variety of shifts, including evenings and weekends.
