Job Description Craft Engineering Technician / Maintenance Engineer Location: Bridgwater Contract: Permanent – 4 on 4 off, 7-7 (2 days / 2 nights) We are looking to recruit a Craft Engineer to join our Bridgwater dairy within our Müller Milk & Ingredients business. As a Craft Engineer, you\’ll provide maintenance services to all plant and manufacturing equipment, focusing on improving plant availability and reliability. Key Responsibilities as Craft Engineer / Maintenance Engineer Responsible for mechanical and basic electrical isolation Carry out preventative and predictive maintenance activities Introduce new ideas to ensure continuous improvement and reliability of manufacturing equipment Advise on engineering practices and maintenance issues within engineering Participate in or lead BDRs, SEA, and RCA requirements as part of a team What We\’re Looking For in a Craft Engineer / Maintenance Engineer NVQ2 or equivalent in basic engineering Relevant engineering experience Excellent written and verbal English skills Problem-solving ability Team player with good interpersonal and communication skills Knowledge of health, safety, environmental, and quality systems and procedures Knowledge of specific work tasks Ability to work independently and as part of a team Please note this is a rotating shift role: 4 days on / 4 nights on, days and nights alternating What’s in it for you?
