Your new role The HR Advisor role provides efficient HR employee relations support to the business units, ensuring the effective delivery of the Group HR strategy and providing proactive, business-focused HR support and advice. The HR Advisor will manage employee relations cases across specific business units, working closely with 2 Managing Directors and their Senior Leadership teams. Regional presence and support are key aspects of this role. What you\’ll do: Deliver effective HR services to assigned business areas, assisting line managers with policies and procedures, and best practices in people management. Build effective relationships with internal stakeholders. Liaise with business leaders and managers to monitor HR practices, ensure compliance, and provide professional advice. Lead case management, including attendance issues, performance management, grievances, restructures, redundancies, and post reevaluations, in accordance with policies and procedures. Ensure consistency and compliance in case management, and identify trends for the wider HR team. Support the development and implementation of HR policies and update Employee Handbooks as needed, keeping policies current on all relevant drives. Produce regular HR reports on employee engagement, sickness absence, turnover, and trends, highlighting opportunities for improvement to HR management and SLT. Monitor employment practices and law to advise on proactive measures. What you\’ll need: Degree or equivalent qualification. Experience with HR systems. Chartered or Graduate member of CIPD or relevant qualification. Commercial awareness. Commitment to CPD. Motivated, focused, with good planning and time-management skills. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Experience handling demanding ER caseloads. Ability to analyze data and interpret trends. Strong report-writing skills. Ability to work under pressure. Knowledge of various Group sectors and collaborative work across teams. Ability to work independently, meet deadlines, manage priorities, and communicate regularly with the team. Focus on continuous improvement. Full UK driving license and willingness to travel.
