Job Purpose As a Junior Ecologist, you will support ecological surveys,data analysis, and conservation projects. You will work closely with consultantand senior ecologists to assess habitats, conduct species surveys, andcontribute to environmental impact assessments. Your role will be crucial inensuring compliance with ecological regulations and promoting biodiversity. Key Responsibilities Conduct ecological surveys, including habitat assessments andprotected species surveys. Assist in data collection, analysis, and reporting. Support the preparation of ecological impact assessments andmitigation strategies. Provide ecological advice to clients and stakeholders. Ensure compliance with environmental legislation and bestpractices. Collaborate with conservation organizations and localauthorities. Maintain accurate records and contribute to researchprojects. Requirements A degree in Ecology, Environmental Science, or arelated field. Knowledge of UK wildlife legislation andecological survey techniques.
