Duties and responsibilities:
- Contact clients and set up meetings, either within an office environment or in clients’ homes or business premises.
- Perform research and analysis required to prepare plans for clients.
- Design financial strategies and assist clients in making informed decisions.
- Review and respond to clients’ changing needs and financial circumstances.
- Promote and sell financial products to meet given or negotiated sales targets.
- Liaise with head office and financial service providers, including negotiating with product suppliers for the best rates.
- Communicate with other professionals, such as estate agents, solicitors, and valuers.
- Keep up to date with financial products and legislation, meet regulatory requirements, and communicate these to clients.
Qualifications:
- FINMA Registered UK Level 3, studying for Level 4 Asset / Investment Management Certificate or equivalent.
Experience:
- At least 3 years of experience preferred.
Package & Remuneration:
- Competitive remuneration.
Licensing:
- FINMA register (no. 29575); Polyreg, OSFIN; MiFID II; MFSA; EU Passporting.
Professional memberships:
- Chartered Insurance Institute (CII).
- Swiss Registered Investment Adviser Association (SRIAA).
Note: For Swiss opportunities, this position typically suits experienced and qualified investment advisory candidates already residing and working in Switzerland.
