Role Description As Allianz continues to evolve, we are committed to maintaining the quality and accuracy of our pricing and underwriting processes. We are seeking a detail-oriented Test Analyst to join our dynamic team during this pivotal time. In this role, you will be instrumental in managing a high volume of change delivery, focusing on defining test scenarios, executing test scripts, and identifying defects. Your efforts will be crucial in maintaining the integrity of our insurance products and systems, ensuring they meet the high standards our customers expect. This is a hybrid role, with options to work from our Bournemouth, Guildford and London offices. You will be required to be in the office for two to sixteen days a month and will occasionally need to visit the Bournemouth office, typically once a month. Salary Information Pay: Circa £38,000 per annum. Pay is based on relevant experience, skills for the role, and location. Salary is only one part of our total reward package. About You Preparing and executing manual and bulk test scripts, validating against other data sources, and identifying defects and anomalies. Analysing requirements to prepare testing conditions, scripts, and data; and supporting development teams in production incident investigation. Identifying improvements in internal team change and test processes, and executing regression test packs. Providing support to Junior Test Analysts and adhering to Allianz Company Standards, department compliance, security policies, and internal team processes. Establishing a working understanding of testing principles, data enrichments, data flow, and general insurance systems and tools. Building knowledge of test environments, general insurance product features, pricing algorithms, and the effect of change on various business areas. Forming effective working relationships with stakeholders and peers, and representing the team in meetings, workshops, and forums. Essential Skills Experience in testing for product, pricing, and underwriting, with proficient general insurance product knowledge. Strong working knowledge of technical and operational use of insurance systems and processes, along with a good understanding of testing terminology and methodologies. Ability to work independently, meet tight deadlines, and manage stakeholders effectively. Strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and confident in numeracy and mathematical calculations. Articulate with strong literacy skills. Working knowledge of Quality Centre or similar test tools. Experience in Polaris testing.
