Post Title: Junior Activities Manager Site Location: BH Live Active – Mountbatten – Portsmouth Salary: £29,765 per annum Hours: 40 hours per week Contract Type: Permanent The role: BH Live is recruiting for a Junior Activities Manager, to develop, expand and oversee our dry side activities offered by the Junior Activities team at BH Live Active – Mountbatten in Portsmouth. You will also work closely with Charter Community Centre to ensure that participation and key performance indicators are met. To learn more about the site, click here : You will: · Manage, develop, and review the Junior Activities Programme. · Keep abreast of industry trends and local, national and government guidelines for children’s health, fitness, and wellbeing. · Manage and coordinate the junior activities coaching and activator teams and ensure adequate staffing for all activities and parties. · Work with the Health & Wellbeing/ Fitness Managers to create activity programmes that are accessible for all. · Create links with local primary and secondary schools through the delivery of community outreach and attend school events. To be successful you will need: · Previous experience of working with customers. · Be able to make decisions and problem solve. · Previous experience of managing and motivating a team. · Strong organisation skills to coordinate resources.
