Norwich City Football Club is looking to recruit Waiting Supervisors to work in our restaurants on first team matchdays.

Experience in restaurants is essential. Experience in a supervisory role would be of benefit.
Our matchdays are typically on Saturdays with some weekday evening and Sunday matches.
A typical shift is 5 – 8 hours depending on the game and job role. This is a casual, hourly paid position.
Responsibilities
- Supporting the Manager in leading a team of waiting staff to deliver an excellent level of service. Ensuring the customer’s expectations are met and exceeded at every opportunity.
- Compliance with Food Hygiene regulations, Health and Safety regulations, Manual Handling guidelines and Licensing laws.
- Accurate taking of orders and clear communication with Managers, Chefs and the Back of House Team regarding customer orders and dietary requirements.
- Mentoring and development of new casual staff to deliver service excellence. Feeding back to the manager on any performance issues or shortfalls in service delivery.
- Speed of service and drinks delivery from our corporate bars.
- Ensuring your restaurant is cleaned to the highest standard.
- Leading and supervising a team to set up rooms to the Carrow Road brand standard.
Qualifications
- Experience in a supervisory role or natural leadership skills.
- The ability to be a role model for casual staff; pride in your appearance, leading by example in delivering the Carrow Road brand standard, whilst demonstrating the Clubs values and behaviours.
- The ability to work alone or lead a small team.
- A resilient, calm and confident approach to working in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- A positive can-do attitude with the ability to motivate and mentor team members.
