Waiting Supervisor

Norwich City Football Club is looking to recruit Waiting Supervisors to work in our restaurants on first team matchdays. If you would like the opportunity of providing excellent service, meet new people and ‘earn a bit extra’ come and join our winning team. Experience in restaurants is essential. Experience in a supervisory role would be of benefit. Our matchdays are typically on Saturdays with some weekday evening and Sunday matches. A typical shift is 5 – 8 hours depending on the game and job role. This is a casual, hourly paid position. In our corporate restaurants and bars, you will be responsible for: Supporting the Manager in leading a team of waiting staff to deliver an excellent level of service. Ensuring the customer’s expectations are met and exceeded at every opportunity. Compliance with Food Hygiene regulations, Health and Safety regulations, Manual Handling guidelines and Licensing laws. Accurate taking of orders and clear communication with Managers, Chefs and the Back of House Team regarding customer orders and dietary requirements. Mentoring and development of new casual staff to deliver service excellence. Feeding back to the manager on any performance issues or shortfalls in service delivery. Speed of service and drinks delivery from our corporate bars. Ensuring your restaurant is cleaned to the highest standard. Leading and supervising a team to set up rooms to the Carrow Road brand standard. You will have: Experience in a supervisory role or natural leadership skills. The ability to be a role model for casual staff; pride in your appearance, leading by example in delivering the Carrow Road brand standard, whilst demonstrating the Clubs values and behaviours. The ability to work alone or lead a small team. A resilient, calm and confident approach to working in a fast-paced environment. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
