We are seeking a Senior Consultant with experience in waste management, land quality, and circular economy to join our expanding team of environmental specialists. As part of our design function, you will provide multidisciplinary environmental design and consultancy services to our delivery teams across the UK. Your responsibilities will include conducting environmental surveys (geoenvironmental, contaminated land), managing environmental permits, preparing operational environmental documentation (Materials Management Plans, Site Waste Management Plans, Sampling Plans), and conducting materials characterisation (waste assessment & classification, contamination assessments, geotechnical/engineering assessments). You will also mentor junior colleagues and develop your leadership skills. Qualifications include a relevant science or engineering degree, chartership or pursuit thereof, a valid UK driving license, and experience delivering waste management, land quality, and circular economy solutions. Knowledge of UK environmental legislation and policies, and experience applying the Definition of Waste: Development Industry Code of Practice, are essential.
